Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes. Lightly coat the chicken with cornstarch.
Season
Add salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss well until the seasoning is evenly distributed.
2. Air-fry the chicken
Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook at 200°C (392°F) for 12–15 minutes, turning the pieces halfway through, around 6–7 minutes, for even cooking and crispiness.
Make sure the chicken reaches a safe internal temperature of at least 74°C (165°F).
3. Make the sweet and spicy sauce
Combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and chili flakes. Stir well.
4. Coat the chicken
Transfer the cooked chicken to a bowl. Pour over the sauce and toss until all the pieces are evenly coated.
5. Serve
Serve with cooked white or brown rice. Garnish with spring onions and white sesame seeds, if desired. Add vegetables on the side for a more balanced meal.
Reduce the honey if you prefer a less sweet sauce.
Serve with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for extra fiber.
For crispier chicken, arrange the pieces in a single layer and avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
